The estate was constructed in 1926 by Charles Kelley King and opened as a public garden in 1953. It covers 47 acres,
comprising a variety of captivatingly beautiful gardens, constantly changing with the seasons as new seed and plant inventories
are acquired.
More than 200 volunteers contribute their time to make this Mansfield landmark one of the most visited and loved attractions
in the area.
Kingwood Center never loses its appeal. Every visit is a new experience to savor. Let me share mine with you through
my photographic CD display. I guarantee you will want to return often.

"The photos are gorgeous, spectacular and just wonderful! They actually had an emotional impact on me as I gasped
at the beauty of the peacocks, laughed at the ducks, and just marveled at the beauty of the flowers and the scenery."
